I'm just at week 5 today after my MC two months back so i'm going to take a dose of my own advice too. I think you can get the picture!! It really helped me to stay strong even in the darkest times as it felt like I was able to do something positive! ( I'm not a weirdo I promise but I do have faith in the power of positivity)!! When we view embryos under a microscope prior to implantation, we grade them from AA (the best) to C (the worst). Georgias egg retrieval produced nine eggs, and fertilisation produced one embryo. After a six month break they decided to try again. ( heart / head / womb etc)' and then I said something relevant to that area like ' help me to think positive thoughts and be supportive to my partner' or ' help my tummy to nourish my body with healthy nutrients' etc. Their last round of IVF produced a pregnancy that sadly miscarried at six weeks. I said something to myself in my mind as I visited each area ' ball of light, hope and love bring positivity and energy to my. I imagined a ball of glowing bright blue light entering my head and then going through each key area ( you can change these to suit your needs), between the eyes, throat, heart, tummy button, both ovaries and womb and then either coming out and doing the circle again or going through the legs!! It really helped to calm me down as I breathed deeply throughout. The best thing you can do is really stay strong for your little one and think positive thoughts- try meditation every morning for just a short period of 10-15mins. What am I supposed to do this week I feel so so sad. A tipped uterus or a large abdomen may make it difficult to hear the foetal heartbeat. The mom-to-be’ds body itself may be one of the factors. This could also be the reason for not hearing a heartbeat. I have to come back in a week to see if baby has grown and I had my dates wrong. Due to an irregular ovulation pattern or inaccurate estimate of your last menstrual cycle, you may not really be 6 weeks pregnant. She said the fetal pole was measuring 6 weeks. I think the chances definitely get better if the heart beat is detected, and I think if there is no spotting that the chances also get better so enjoy your happy time and think positive!! I also miscarried at 6 plus 5 days after seeing a heartbeat just 2 days before, but I had spotting on and off for a week before that and something just didn't feel right. No heartbeat on U/S at 9 weeks Went to have an ultrasound today because Ive had a little bit of spotting and some cramping going on. Breastfeeding: the trick to a comfy latch At around 6 weeks in the pregnancy, with a confirmed fetal heartbeat, there is an average miscarriage risk of around 9.4 At 7 weeks this is about 4.6, at 8 weeks the risk is about 1.
